Happy Chinese New Year
to all who celebrates it.
Secondly, I'm not going to talk about my CNY. Because I don't wanna bore you. So here's a random CNY special. M told me about it once before, but he did a shitty explanation, I read it again online, but I forgot the website, but here's the thing.
" Have you ever wondered why each passing year seems to be shorter and shorter? "
Let me try to explain to you using words first. Think of it as fractions of your life. When you're 1, everything is new to you, the world is new. So that 1 year = your entire life. When you're 2, that year feels like half your life because of what you've experienced. So it's 1/2, and 1/3 and so on.
Okay, if you didn't get what I just said, here's a bar graph to make things dead simple.
It isn't drawn to scale. It's just to make my point across.
So if you ever wondered why your childhood feels like eternity, and your current life just seems to zoom right pass. That's why. And that may also be the reason why we find it harder to get over things that happened in the past.
Oh well. I was distracted and now I'm posting this after 12. Anyway, it's CNY, hope you guys get many many ang baos!
Bye my minions~
