Movie watching spree
Monday, December 24, 2012
I suddenly started watching a lot of movies, and downloading even more. The list of movies I have watched since holidays started are as follows.
Behind Enemy Lines (2001)
I Love You Phillip Morris (2009)
Legend of Zorro (2005)
Lord of War (2005)
The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009)
The Thin Red Line (1998)
I've watched Behind Enemy Lines and The Men Who Stare at Goats before though. The list of movies that I've downloaded but haven't watched includes
A Knights Tale (2001)
Death Race 2 (2010)
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days (2012)
Finding Nemo (2003)
Flags of our Fathers (2006)
Jurassic Park Trilogy (1993 ~ 2001)
Legends of the Fall (1994)
Madagascar Escape 2 Africa (2008)
Police Academy (1984)
Schindlers List (1993)
The Pianist (2002)
Toy Story Trilogy
Underworld Rise of the Lycans (2009)
Your Sisters Sister (2011)
Yeah, it's a hell lot of shit that I've downloaded. And all of them are in HD, mostly in 1080p, and the less "important" ones are in 720p. Because I am very particular about the quality of the videos I watch. Which is why all of my animes are in 720p. The reason why I don't download my animes in 1080p is mainly due to the fact that there isn't much visible difference for anime, the file size also goes up quite substantially.
Anyway I would have to recommend watching I Love You Phillip Morris. Because it's R21 in SG due to the gay nature of the movie. No it's not sissy or something, it is about gays. But Jim Carrey is starred in it, so you can expect it to be hilarious.
The crazy part of the movie is that it's based on a true story. Where a guy commits fraud and all sorts of crazy shit to get out of prison to meet his gay lover. It is beautiful in it's own strange little way.
The others were so so, search for other reviews, they are true. Apart from Behind Enemy Lines of course, it's like one of my all time favourite movies. I suppose by the time this post is up it'll be christmas eve already. Surprisingly I actually do have some sort of plan this time round. So it wouldn't be as sad and pathetic as the other years, though I have zero recollection as to what I did for every other Christmas, I'll probably forget about this one too.
Happy Christmas Eve everyone.
